“It’s Easy Money”

“Many students are resorting to phone sex when going through financial difficulties, several of my friends are doing it, however I’m not too sure about the whole concept and I think I’d rather stick to standard employment opportunities”.

21 year old student Natasha Harris spoke of how she thinks that there are different solutions to handling financial problems rather than “degrading yourself” to such jobs.

“I agree it’s easy money but is it worth doing, I personally feel talking to random people in such ways is not my cup of tea, however I have friends and they seem to really enjoy it and are earning serious cash”.

Students must be facing severe financial difficulties if they feel that entering into the sex trade is the only way of helping them.

This raises the question that is there no sufficient funds being provided for university students.

“Student grants are available but it’s just not enough, especially in this economic climate”.

Should student finance be providing more money? Should the government introduce new schemes to help? Natasha reckons one solution could be “universities should help students to find jobs”.

When asked why students choose to become phone sex operators, Natasha replied saying

“Well my friends that have chosen this route all say its fun and exciting. They say that creating all the different fantasies is just amazing and intellectually stimulating. And no hard work involved! And the best bit is, you choose your own hours. The flexibility of being a phone sex operator is the most enticing aspect as it fits around your university work, social life and family life.”
